We're Always Closer Than We Think - Race Ready Films
There are the moments everyone sees. The start line. The race. The finish. The medal. And then there are all the moments that get you there.
For Canadian National Team Premier Athlete Abbey Fulton, paddling is built on repetition. Early mornings. Long sessions. Training when no one is watching. Stroke after stroke, until movement becomes instinct and a crew begins to move as one.
But the work is only part of it. Paddling is also the people beside you. Teammates who push you, races that stay with you and a community that keeps bringing you back to the water.
That pursuit is what brought Abbey to Race Ready. As our first Team Rider, Abbey will be part of more than the racing. She'll train with our equipment, put it to the test and help us continue building tools around what paddlers actually need.
Because progress rarely comes from one big moment. It's built one stroke at a time.
Every stroke counts.
